Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, Tsanonda Edwards is the author of “The extraORDINARY Mr. Nobody: A Beginner’s Guide to Self-Healing” which uses his life as a backdrop to guide readers through high school, college and life with particular focus on relationships, decision-making and battling the stigma of mental health. Featured on BlackEnterprise.com, on NPR’s StoryCorps where his story now lives in the Library of Congress and most recently in VoyageBaltimore Magazine, Tsanonda is a community educator with over 25-years’ experience working with youth and adults.
With a Masters’ Degree in Human Services Administration, Tsanonda is the Co-founder and Director of Community Engagement of Above It All, a Mental Health Program for youth ages 5 to 17. Formerly a Baltimore City Public School Teacher and Success Coach with Elev8 Baltimore, Tsanonda also currently serves as a consultant with the Cambio Group, an organization empowering schools, parents and students to be their best selves with equity and inclusion at the forefront of their vision as well as a Fearless Sports brand ambassador alongside other social impact makers, leading the way to build more hopeful, safe, empowered and galvanized communities in Baltimore and beyond.
